The building was converted into residential use after a $120 million renovation by the Cogswell Group. The notable art deco lobby necessitated meticulous updates to modern amenities consistent of a luxury residential high rise.
Careful consideration was given to the design of a new custom millwork concierge desk, built-in seating niches where old store fronts once stood , custom light fixtures, custom wood paneling, and deco style carpet at the elevator lobbies creates harmony as well as modern function. Today the landmark building consists of 317 luxury one-and two-bedroom rental residences with open floor plans and custom designed kitchens and bathrooms. The building features amenities including a health club, bowling alley, basketball court and media room.
